Piano and Cello
I started taking piano lessons in elementary school and began teaching lessons when I was 14. I played in my middle school's orchestra until graduation. Today, I mostly love to play jazz, rags, and blues on the piano. Also, I am currently a sophomore at UCCS studying biomedical science, and I am Army ROTC Cadet!
Guitar and Drums
Hi! My name is Jeff and I'm a full-time professional drummer and guitar player, and have been touring and performing all over the country the past 15 years. I've played with Rock and roll Hall of Fame members, and have also built my own original music. I have been trusted to hold down the rhythm section numerous times in high-pressure performances.
In my teaching, I bring high attention to detail on all aspects of playing music, which lends itself to building a strong foundation for musicians at any level.
I got involved in the music scene when I was 18 and I am currently in a rock band called Blue Mesa; we have played music venues such as Summit Music Hall, Herman's Hideaway, the Marquis, and many others! Music is my #1 passion and I am truly living the dream when I get to play live for audiences with my band. I look forward to teaching guitar to anyone that has been inspired to play, just like I was inspired to play many years ago!
Guitar, Piano, and Voice
I have 27 years of experience with the guitar, mainly acoustic. I’ve played jazz, country, folk, alternative rock and acoustic rock. I studied music performance at Northwest College in Powell, WY. I also have a decade of experience with piano.
I try to bring a fun and adaptive approach to my teaching and use both curriculum and more of a freeform methodology to my lessons. I have taught a wide range of ages and students in my 7 years of teaching with Accent Music. I look forward to working with you!
I have played violin since I was 7, and have worked with middle school and high school orchestra players for the past 3 years. I believe the most important thing about learning an instrument is to have it be enjoyable, fun, and something you look forward to. I also have a degree in Wildlife Biology and am extremely passionate about nature and the outdoors.

Piano and Drums
I've been a dedicated student of music since the age of 10. I've competed in world championship drum line competitions. Music has allowed to me to channel chaos into something recognizable and personal. Musically, my main areas of expertise are percussion, electronic music production, and sound design. I am passionate about offering support, guidance, and targeted exercises for moving deeper into mastery, creative confidence, and enjoyment of each days's progress.
Note about our teachers
For many of our teachers, this is a part-time position doing something that they are truly passionate about. We would love to keep them in the Accent Music family forever, however, these talented individuals sometimes receive full-time offers that allows them to move onto bigger and better things. We completely understand and wish them nothing but the best!
However, this means that your teacher might no longer be available to provide quality music lessons for you. When situations like this arise, please know that Accent Music employs more than three dozen highly experienced music teachers around Colorado and Phoenix and we will do our best to ensure another highly qualified teacher is available to pick up right where your last teacher left off! The last thing we want to do is interrupt the progress that you or your student have achieved and will do whatever it takes to ensure you have a positive music lesson experience.
